Pool Access Control System

Pool Hours: The pool hours are 8:00 am until dusk every day.  The use of the pool facilities is restricted to Twin Lakes residents and their guests. In addition, children under 14-years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

The System: Since May 1st, 2007 access to the community pool and restroom facilities have requried the use of a proximity access control card. This access control measure has been implemented by the Association and the Board of Directors in response to the large volume of unauthorized use of our pool facility by non-residents and the vandalism that has occurred in the past.

The Cards:
Vanguard/COA will issue one (1) electronic proximity access control card to any resident who requests one, free of charge. Each card has a unique identification number and will be programmed into the system with the residents name and address.

Card Requests:
One access control card will be mailed to residents who submit a request. To obtain your card submit your name, complete address and telephone number to Twin Lakes Card Request, c/o COA, 1463 Oakfield Drive, Suite 129, Brandon, Florida 33511. You may also submit this request via email to Manager@TLBHOA.org.

Lost / Replacement Cards:
The access control cards along with the programming and distribution of these cards are costly to the association. The first card (one card) will be issued free of charge however any replacements for lost cards will be available at a cost of $15.00 each. COA should be notified immediately of any lost card so that the card can be disabled from the system.

Loss of Access: In accordance with recent changes in the State legislature regarding Home Owner Associations in 2011, a resident will be denied access to community property and facilities for failure to remain in good standing as a member of the association.  The Twin Lakes Board of Director's will restrict access to community facilities for any member when the assocaition has enacted legal proceedings against that resident for failure to pay assessments.  Access will not be granted until such time as the member resolves the legal actions with the HOA.

Note: Lost cards will be disabled / deactivated from the system immediately when a replacement card is issued.
