Mailboxes & Paint Colors
The Covenants of Twin Lakes of Brandon require uniformity in all mailboxes and mailbox posts. This includes uniformity in design, style and color with a white mail box. The mailbox post, design and colors were originally selected by the developer who selected Creative Mailbox Designs, a local company based in Oldsmar, to manufacture and supply these mail box posts.

Creative Mailboxe Desings are no longer offering the wooden mailbox posts so the HOA is comming up with an alternative supplier.

Twin Lake’s mailbox posts are now available in lightweight concrete which will be substantially stronger and will avoid rot and termites.  Mailbox posts may be purchased from:

Concrete Replicas, Inc. by contacting the Association’s management company
C
ommunities of America, Inc. at  (813) 685-6473

Single mailbox posts are $380 (plus tax) installed.
Double mailbox post are $445 (plus tax) installed.

This will include the transfer of your current mailbox and removal of your old post.  These prices represent a substantial savings over the costs of the old wooden posts from the original manufacturer and are anticipated to last far longer.

Homeowners are not required to purchase their mailbox post from any particular company, they simply must match the original mailbox post installed by the developer.

Re-Painting: The paint and colors originally used came from Benjamin Moore and were an exterior latex paint. These colors have been discontinued however and are no longer available. For your convenience, the primary grey color and dark blue for the numbers were analyzed and converted to codes that may be obtained from any Home Depot.

The link below will open a PDF file containing the paint color codes. You may print this attachment and take it to any Home Depot location to have the paint mixed. The codes are for a gallon of each however the paint department can convert these codes and mix a quart or any quantity you require.
