Twin Lakes Board of Directors would like to see more community involvement this year. Especially at Board Mtgs when 2-3 residents is the most that attended a meeting at any given time.
Only three Board Members returning: Dave Campbell-President; Derrick Matthews-VP; Mark Gaudio-Secretary.
Only one community member applied for Board Member Seat: Lou Ferrucci (not in attendance).
Community elects by unanimous vote: David Campbell, Mark Gaudio, Derrick Matthews, and Lou Ferrucci as Board Members for 2009-2010.
Board may look to appoint a fifth Board member.
November 7th: Community Service Project-Building stage for Phase II Zenia Park renovation. Will be used for Holiday in the Park, movies, concerts, etc.
December 5th @ 7:00 pm: Holiday Concert in the Park.
Financials: Twin Lakes Board has never had to draw funds from Reserve Account. But this year, funds might be tight so either Reserve Account might be tapped or Assessment Fees may be raised.
Eighteen Twin Lakes homes (out of 450+) in Foreclosure, six homes are abandoned that Twin Lakes Board maintains. This Foreclosure rate (4%) is remarkably low compared to other neighborhoods locally, state-wide and even nationally.
Virtually, no vandalism on Twin Lakes common property reported this year.
Will need new Editor for the Twin Lakes Newsletter by November, 2009. Lou Bloom is stepping down and volunteers are needed.
November 5th: Next Twin Lakes Board Meeting (place TBD … possibly Buckhorn Country Club). 2010 Annual Budget will be discussed and approved.
